McDonald’s restaurants in Northern Nevada and The Children’s Cabinet have partnered to host the I’m Lovin’ It Summer School Supplies Drive. The two-day event is taking place today and Sunday.
Customers who donate new school supplies to any participating McDonald’s restaurant throughout Northern Nevada will receive a free cone of vanilla ice cream for the donation.
The Children’s Cabinet will distribute the supplies to children and families in need.
Items being collected include: pencils, pens, colored pencils, erasers, spiral notebooks, paper, markers, glue, highlighters, crayons, watercolor paint and index cards.
Local participating restaurants include 2001 N. Carson St. and 3905 S. Carson St. in Carson City; 1500 State Route 343 in Fernley; and 1666 U.S. Highway 395 in Minden.
