The next meeting of the Carson City Chapter of Retired Public Employees of Nevada will be Tuesday, June 6, at the Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive.
The board meets at 1 with the general meeting to follow at 2 p.m.
Speakers will be Terri Laird and Kerry Armanasco from the RPEN state office and possibly RPEN’s lobbyist, Marlene Lockard. They will be providing an update on what has been happening in the legislature, particularly with bills that impact pensions and benefits and management of PEBP and PERS.
All are welcome to attend either or both meetings. Free refreshments will be served at the general meeting. There will also be a raffle drawing for all attendees.
