Talk of the Town: Fun and games lurk at Hydra’s Lair

Are you aware

That you might have a flair

For games of any kind?

The place is an ace.

Puts a smile on your face

Hydra’s Lair is one of a kind.

I will just give you the basics:

Trading card games, comic books, video game systems,

Wii capability and Xbox soon to come.

Come take a look

You might just get hooked

But you’re sure to have some fun.

Wednesday is “Dungeons and Dragons”

A fantasy table top game.

Please take a seat

You can feel your heart beat

But, know it’s a game for the sane.

Thursday is for painting.

You can paint your figures for games.

They will each have a part

With your own art

And I bet you remember their name.

Friday is “Magic: The Gathering”

A battle with wizards and spells.

All that you need is your deck of cards

And the “Planeswalker” will do it well.

What can I say?

It’s not out of the way

But a place to relax and have fun.

So put out the word

An oasis for nerds

All ages are welcome to come.
