Man arrested on suspicion of intimidation of an officer, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 3:45 p.m., Jason Serda, 39, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of six counts of felony possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and two counts of bail conditions after deputies responded to assist Department of Alternative Sentencing officers near the 600 block of King Street. Bail was set at $21,000.

THURSDAY

At 2:27 a.m., Mark Johnson, 64, of South Lake Tahoe was arrested on suspicion of felony sex offender failed to register after deputies initiated a consensual stop near Carson and Ann streets. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 2:52 a.m., Andrew Hettrick, 39, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony intimidation of a public officer after deputies responded to reports of an unknown problem near the 2900 block of Cameron Court.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
