A free discussion and screening of the PBS Frontline film “Being Mortal” is planned from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. March 23 at Sierra Place Senior Living, 1111 W. College Parkway, Carson City.
Based on the best-selling book by Dr. Atul Gawande, the documentary explores the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness and their relationships with the physicians who treat them.
The screening is a program of Sierra Place Senior Living and Infinity Hospice Foundation.
