Carson City road report for May 8-14

The following information applies to the period of May 8-14:

Road closures expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Caution is recommended:

Sonoma Street between Saliman Road and Halleck Drive will be closed until Monday at 5:30 p.m.

Phillips Street just north of Robinson Street will be closed Monday-Thursday

Sophia Street will be closed between Carson and Plaza streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays

Lane closures or restrictions expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Drivers are asked to use caution:

U.S. 50 at the U.S. 395 intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction, until further notice, for freeway improvements (travel delays are expected on South Carson Street near the U.S. 50 Spooner junction)

South Carson Street, north and southbound, between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues, will have single and double lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays

Airport Road will have single lane closures between College Parkway and U.S. 50 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday

Carson Street between William and Fifth streets will have shifted lanes from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday

The Winnie Lane and Carson Street intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday

Plaza Street between William and Sophia streets will have the southbound lane closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays

Edmonds Drive between Bennett and Snyder avenues will be reduced to one lane with flaggers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday

Edmonds Drive near Gentry Lane will have shifted lanes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday
