The Carson City Natives & Newcomers will hold its annual installation potluck lunch at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, at Highway 50 and Saliman Road, at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 11.
The program will include an installation of officers for the following year. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish to share.
The club is a local charity that provides a scholarship for nursing students at Western Nevada College and one for a Carson High School student. It also sends over 500 decks of Braille playing cards for free throughout the USA and other countries each year.
