Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man charged with domestic battery

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 10:46 a.m., a 24-year-old Dayton woman was jailed on two contempt of court warrants issued by the Carson City Justice Court. Total bail was set at $844.

At 3:34 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson man was jailed on a warrant issued by Reno Justice Court charging him with failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 4:20 p.m., Taylor Nicole Chandler, 22, of Grants Pass, Ore., was jailed on a felony warrant charging her with DUI alcohol/drugs resulting in substantial bodily harm or death. She was also charged with failure to provide proof of community service. Total bail was set at $51,000.

At 8:42 p.m., a 31-year-old Carson man was charged with domestic battery 1st. His wife told deputies he pushed her down and against a wall and twisted her wrist during an argument at their Travis Drive residence over his drinking. His bail was set at $3,000.

FRIDAY

At 1:08 a.m., a 29-year-old Carson man was charged with misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence, destruction of property and disorderly conduct after deputies were dispatched to an address on Camille on a report of an intoxicated subject. He was ordered held in lieu of $3,650 bail.

At 3:34 a.m., a 20-year-old juvenile passenger was arrested as a minor consuming alcohol after a traffic stop at Carson Street and Winnie Lane. He also was charged with violating probation conditions and was ordered held in lieu of $3,150 bail.
