Gary W. Richardson of Fallon, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 13, 2017.
Gary was born August 5, 1938 in Knoxville, Iowa to Rex and Mary Alice Richardson.
He had been a resident of Yerington, Nevada for over 40 years, moving to Fallon 6 years ago. He had been involved in farming for many years, he had also served as a Deputy Sheriff for Lyon County at one time.
He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Dedra Morris.
Gary is survived by his wife, Nancy of Fallon; daughters, Brenda Sellers of Yerington, Cindy Gardner of Oregon and Deena Oeff of North Dakota; 7 grandchildren; brother, Denny Richardson of Yerington; sister, Barbara Steiger of Livermore, CA.; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Gary’s life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm at The Gardens Chapel.
