Northern Nevada HUI Association serving Polynesian food during Saturday’s concert series

The Northern Nevada HUI Association will be serving traditional Polynesian food during Saturday’s concert at the Brewery Arts Center.

The meal is a fundraiser for the HUI Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit, which promotes Polynesian culture in Northern Nevada by creating a network of individuals who support each other and share the same vision.

Frobeck will perform as part of the Brewery Arts Center Levitt AMP Concert Series with opening act Trippin’ King Snakes at 7 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free. The venue is located at 449 W. King St.

Hawaiian plate lunches will be served from about 5:30 p.m. until close. A Big Tsunami Plate will consist of two pieces/scoops of chicken, rice, mac salad and bottles of water for $12.

A Tutu Plate will be served for $7.50. That plate will consist of a piece/scoop of chicken, rice, mac and water. A Keiki Plate will be offered for $6.50 consisting of a piece of chicken, a bottle of water, and a choice of rice or mac salad.
