A half-day workshop on Aug. 15 is aimed at helping attendees understand the power of conversation, develop techniques to resolve conflict, and promote a positive environment in the workplace.
The Nevada Industry Excellence workshop on Conversational Intelligence will take place from 8 a.m. to noon in Room 227 of the University of Nevada, Reno’s Redfield campus, 18600 Wedge Parkway in south Reno.
The workshop is intended for managers and leaders who may be new to managing people and want to develop a more positive culture and increase trust with their team. Others who may benefit from the event are those who are seeking to develop their employees’ skills or want to achieve better results from conversations with their team.
The workshop will be presented by Cathy Norris, president of Sensational Leadership. The cost is $149.
