Carson hosts Douglas in big twinbill

Carson and Douglas collide Saturday at 11 a.m. at CHS in a big Northern 4A softball doubleheader.

Douglas is tied with Bishop Manogue for second place in the Northern 4A. Each team is 13-5 and trails league-leading Spanish Springs, which is 17-1. Carson and Reed are a step back at 12-6. Damonte is sixth at 10-8, McQueen is seventh at 8-10 with Galena and Reno tied for the final playoff spot at 6-12.
