The ol’ ‘return stolen pants for cash’ trick fails, CCSO says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

• At 1:30 p.m., Walter Anderson, 58, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and obtaining money under false pretenses after allegedly removing the price tag from a pair of pants at Kohl’s then returning them for cash. Bail was set at $21,000.
