Hettricks celebrate 50 years of marriage

Nancy and Donald Hettrick, 41-year residents of Carson City, celebrated their 50th anniversary on Friday.

The couple married in Sacramento, Calif., on Sept. 14, 1968.

Donald worked for 35 years at Southwest Gas in Carson City. Nancy is retired from working at several local car dealerships.

The couple has three sons and daughters-in-law: Stephen Hettrick and his wife Jill, Brent Hettrick and his wife Denise, and Tracee Hettrick and his wife Tonia, all of Carson City.

Nancy and Donald are the grandparents of seven.
