Bicyclists and bike advocates — and anybody really — have this week to participate in a survey that will help with Muscle Powered’s application concerning Carson City’s status as a Bicycle Friendly Community.
The application was submitted to the League of American Bicyclists.
As part of the review process of each applicant community, the league collects input from local bicyclists and bike advocates about their experiences and perceptions of biking conditions in Carson City. These survey responses are used both to inform the league’s BFC award decision, as well as to provide feedback on an anonymous basis to the applicant community about how they can improve conditions for bicyclists.
The survey needs to be completed by Sept. 23. The survey can be completed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/adv_BFC_FA18.
The league would like to hear from as many people as possible. BFC award announcements will be made in November.
