USDA Rural Development offering solid waste management grants

USDA Rural Development is now accepting applications for solid waste management grants to protect groundwater by planning for and managing solid waste.

The deadline for applications is Dec. 31. They can be submitted electronically at www.grants.gov or on paper to USDA Rural Development Water and Environmental Programs, 1400 Independence Ave., SW, Room 5168 STOP 1522, Washington, D.C., 20250-1597.
