Carson City Aquatic Facility reopening on Tuesday

The Carson City Aquatic Facility is reopening on Tuesday and to celebrate the pool and facility will be free on Jan. 26.

The facility has been closed for more than two months for a $550,000 renovation that included re-plastering the Olympic-sized pool, redoing the lockers, renovating the bathrooms by the therapy pool, and repainting the facility’s interior.

The pool will be reopen on its winter schedule, opening at 5:45 a.m. for lap swim and closing at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and opening at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.
