Carson City Road Report for May 12-19

The following information applies to the period of May 13-19:

Road closures expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

SR 28 will be closed near Tunnel Creek Café and Sand Harbor State Park, Tuesday-Thursday, 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Edmonds Drive will be closed between Gordon Street and Reeves Street, Wednesday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

College Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Northgate Lane and Roop Street, Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

College Parkway will have reduced lanes between Roop Street and Airport Road, Tuesday-Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Emerson Drive will be reduced to a single lane between College Parkway and Mark Way, Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Stewart Street will have reduced lanes between Little Lane and Wright Way, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Curry Street will be reduced to a single lane between Shoshone Street and Oneida Street, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Roop Street will have reduced lanes between College Parkway and Hot Springs Road, Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Intersection of Roop Street and Hot Springs Road will have reduced lanes, Monday-Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Intersection of Roop Street and Hot Springs Road will have reduced lanes, Monday-Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Center Drive will be reduced to a single lane between Arthur Drive and Gibson Avenue, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

US 50 will have 24-hour single lane closures between Tahoe Golf Drive and Spooner summit, Monday-Friday, Travel delays between 10 and 30 minutes should be anticipated — lane closures expected through late November

SR 28 will have reduced lanes between Incline Village and Sand Harbor State Park, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., through late June

Oregon Street may have narrowed lanes between Wright Way and Roop Street, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Menlo Drive will be reduced to a single lane between Airport Road and Lompa Lane, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Airport Road will be reduced to a single lane between Menlo Drive and Woodside Drive, Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lompa Lane will be reduced to a single lane between Menlo Drive and Modoc Court, Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fall Street will be reduced to a single lane between John Street and Dan Street, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Clearview Drive will be reduced to a single lane between Curry Street and Voltaire Street, Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Oak Ridge Drive will have intermittent lane closures between Ormsby Blvd. and College Parkway, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Forest Way will be reduced to a single lane west of Goni Road, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Starting May 20: I-580 will have night-time single lane closures between East Lake Blvd. and Fairview Drive, though next year


Special Event: Cops and Kids, Saturday, May 18: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., will impact the following streets:

Musser Street will be closed between Pratt Street and Harbin Street

Harbin Street will be closed between Telegraph Street and Second Street
