The Mile High Jazz Band will perform an all-instrumental program highlighting the talents of several soloists from the band at Living the Good Life Bistro, 1480 N. Carson Street, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Dinner and late night menus are available.

The band will play big-band favorites, including “Love for Sale,” “Gorilla Man Blues” and “Count Bubba” and tunes recently added to the band’s repertoire, including an arrangement of “Tumbling Tumbleweeds” and Duke Ellington and Johnny Hodges’ classic, “Jeep’s Blues.”

Featured soloists include Bill Melendres and Joi Cerveri on trumpet, Derek Fong and Jacob Richetta on tenor sax, Rich Davis on alto sax, Liz Eubanks on bari sax and Don Smaltz on trombone.

The performance is funded, in part, by a grant from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
