Carson City has a new hair salon specializing in chemical-free products.
La Nova Beauty is holding a grand opening Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring food, drinks, consultations and demonstrations using the salon’s unique product line.
“We are a non-toxic salon, we use products biodynamically and organically made,” said Laura Segura, the salon’s owner.
La Nova offers a complete array of hair and skin services, from color and cuts to facials and waxing, all using O Way organic beauty products, which are also sold there.
Segura is a hair stylist and her partner is Mahira Gomez, esthetician. The salon is equipped for two more hairstylists, which Segura plans to add after the grand opening kick off.
La Nova Beauty is located at 101 Hot Springs Road, Suite 8H, at the corner of Hot Springs and Sage Street, and is open Monday through Saturday by appointment. Segura can be reached at 775-315-9300 and Gomez is at 775-219-8019.
