The U.S. Geological Survey reported an earthquake near Carson City on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the USGS, the magnitude 3.5 quake hit at 3:10 p.m., 7.2 miles north of Stagecoach and 30.2 miles northeast of Carson City at a depth of 18 kilometers.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
