Carson City Health and Human Services reported 13 new cases and 30 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region on Friday.
This brings the total number of cases to 12,053, with 11,454 recoveries and 222 deaths; 377 cases remain active.

Mobile Vaccination Unit
The Mobile Vaccination Units (MVU) were launched by the State of Nevada, FEMA, and local partners to bring COVID-19 vaccines to rural areas. The units will be providing the single-dose Janssen vaccine to walk-up registrants on a first-come, first-served vases. The Janssen vaccine has been authorized for use in those 18 years and older.
The MVU will be coming to the Quad-County Region:
  • Douglas County
    • April 10, 2021 | 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Topaz Ranch Estates Community Center (3939 Carter Dr, Wellington)
  • Lyon County
    • April 12, 2021 | 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Lyon County Human Services (620 Lake St, Silver Springs)
 
Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing for Quad-County Residents 
Testing is for Quad-County (Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey County) residents ONLY, all others will be turned away. Testing is free of charge, no appointments or reservations. To view all upcoming events visit https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/events/.
