Sheriff investigating vehicle burglaries in Carson City

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a series of vehicle burglaries in the Hot Springs Road area since the end of March. Vehicle windows have been broken out and property taken from the vehicles.
Video surveillance from the 600 block of Hot Springs Road on March 27 shows a burglary suspect who broke the window of a car and stole a backpack containing construction tools. The suspect was wearing gray jacket with black sleeves, black facemask, gray beanie, black pants and gloves.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office reminds the public not to leave items of value inside vehicles.
