2 arrested in Dayton during domestic disturbance

Two people were arrested during a domestic disturbance call in Dayton on Saturday, according to a new release from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, at approximately 8:11 p.m., LCSO deputies were dispatched to 70 E. Highway 50 in Dayton for a report of a domestic disturbance.
When deputies arrived, they observed 35-year-old Joshua King and 39-year-old Abby Lee inside a motorhome.

King was known to deputies from prior law incidents and had an active felony and misdemeanor for his arrest. The felony warrant was for a weapons-related charge and King was reportedly in possession of various weapons.Lee and King refused to exit the motorhome.

Deputies attempted to make contact with both subjects for several hours before a search warrant was obtained. A team of deputies began executing the search warrant and made contact with King and Lee from outside the motorhome. King assaulted deputies and was subdued with the use of a taser.
King was arrested on the following charges:
• Carrying a Concealed Firearm without a Permit, a Felony;
• Assault on a Peace Officer, a Gross Misdemeanor;
• Obstructing/Resisting a Public Officer, a Misdemeanor;
• Contempt of Court – On the Original Charge of Battery, a Misdemeanor.
Lee was arrested for Obstructing/Resisting a Public Officer, a Misdemeanor.
Both were booked into the Lyon County jail.
