The Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada will host a night of “Pure Imagination” on Sept. 18 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Casino Fandango’s Ballroom at 3800 S Carson St.
Drawing inspiration from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the event will feature a social hour, dinner, magic show, door prizes, and silent auction items. Jacques the Magician will also make a surprise appearance.
Individual tickets are $50, or guests can purchase a full 10-person table for $500. Tickets can be bought through the Children’s Museum website https://www.cmnn.org/gala or by calling (775) 884-2226.
Proceeds will go toward updating the museum’s exhibits and improving programming.
Organizers felt that the Willy Wonka theme was especially fitting, considering they want to provide children a safe place to imagine and create.
