Two of the Fallon Youth Football League teams won the SYFL (Sierra Youth Football League) title last month at McQueen High School after the 2020 season was cancelled due to the pandemic.
Fallon defeated Spanish Springs, 34-6, to win the Freshman title, while the Greenwave defeated Reed, 26-0, to win the Varsity division. Both Fallon teams finished without a loss during the regular season to earn the No. 1 seed for the playoffs.
Fallon's team in the Varsity division also won the Bandits, Maverick and Freshman titles and will go for the Collegiate title to become the first FYFL team to go undefeated in the championship game in a decade.
