The Brewery Arts Center is adding classes to its growing catalog of opportunities.
This Friday, Dec. 3 the BAC will offer a new Creative Kids class from 3:30 to 5:30 to create “Snowman” specifically designed for 5-11 year olds with instructor Debbie Corona.
Instructions will be given through verbal, visual, demonstrations and examples. The cost is $40 and includes all materials. An apron or clothing you don't mind getting stained would be a good idea for your child.
Then from 7-9:30 p.m., Debbie will offer her adult “Paint and Sip” class where students will learn techniques and paint along while enjoying complimentary beer and wine during the class. Friday, the painting will be “Shining Star” and this class is also $40 per person.
Also Friday, from 6:30 to 8:30, in the Pottery Studio, instructor Kym Meahl will lead you through creating your own clay “Yule Mug” in our new Wine and Clay series. You'll be using your creative energy to make an awesome and hearty mug with clay. As you sip wine, you will be hand building your mugs on night one and as you continue to sip wine, you'll be glazing your mugs on night two, which will be Dec. 17 from 6:30 to 8:30. There is no pottery experience required. The cost for this class is $50 all inclusive.
You can register for all of these classes on the BAC website; breweryarts.org under the “Classes, Concerts and Events” link. Please keep in mind that students must wear a mask during all indoor classes when not actively consuming their beverages. Additionally, the pottery class does require proof of vaccination to participate.
