Carson City road report for February 8 to 14, 2021

Road report as of Thursday. The following applies to Feb. 8-14:
Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
5th Street will remain closed in both directions between Marsh Road and Roundup Road, Monday-Sunday, all day, for reconstruction of the sewer lift station. Detours will be in place and residential access will be allowed.
Idaho Street will be closed in both directions between Fairview Drive and Industrial Park Drive Tuesday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for replacement of a fire hydrant. Please use caution.
Little Lane may have periodic lane closures in the westbound direction between Roop Street and Saliman Road, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for construction of a development project. Eastbound traffic will remain open.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
Airport Road at the intersection of U.S. 50 will have single lane closures with flagger operations, Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for striping and pavement markings. Please don’t drive in freshly painted stripes.
Carson Street at Telegraph Street will have periodic shoulder closures for installation of crosswalk enhancements, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Cortez Street will be closed between Calico Street and Stonewall Street, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility replacement work.
Goshute Way will be closed between Kingsley Lane and Kitchen Drive, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility replacement work.
