If the patient does not have an email, they will receive a phone call from CCHHS notifying them of the rescheduled date.
The second dose events that are rescheduled were for Moderna second doses. The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is a series vaccine consisting of two doses administered 28 days apart. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Moderna COVID-19 vaccines may be administered up to six weeks (42 days) after the first dose without changing the efficacy of the vaccine.
All other events that were previously scheduled for this week will be held as planned without any adjustments.
Events are by appointment only. Those without an appointment and those who are not eligible will be turned away. Questions? Call the Quad-County COVID-19 Hotline Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 775-434-1988.
