Ryder Homes will begin building four model homes this month at the Cross Creek project on Saliman Road on Lompa Ranch in Carson City. The 400-plus acre site has completed the onsite infrastructure, including roadways, drainage channels and public utilities, according to a recent press release; Ryder plans to release their first homes for sale late July.

When complete, Cross Creek will consist of 189 homes with five different floor plans ranging in size from 1,800 to 2,800 square feet. Prices are expected to start at more than $550,000, with upgrades and customization options available. “While homes will not list for sale until late July, homebuyers can apply for a priority interest list with Guild Mortgage,” Taylor Cohee, sales and marketing director for Ryder Homes, said in a statement.
