In time for National Bourbon Day, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak and the Prime Minister of Quebec, Francois Legault, have made a “spirited” wager based on the outcome of the Stanley Cup semifinals. The stakes? Whoever sees his team lose must wear the winning team’s jersey and provide a bottle of his chosen spirit.

Sisolak has teamed up with Frey Ranch south of Fallon to offer a bottle of its award-winning Single Barrel, Barrel Proof Bourbon, which recently won Double Gold in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Lagault has bet a bottle of gin made in Quebec.

The series is tied up at two games each with the fifth game scheduled for Tuesday night in Las Vegas.
