Carson City Health and Human Services reports 24 new cases of COVID-19

Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 24 new cases and 51 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 11,287, with 9,182 recoveries and 208 deaths; 1,897 cases remain active.

COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility- New Groups

 

Starting March 3, 2021, the following groups will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the Quad-County Region:


  • Essential Public Transportation
  • Essential Public Health Workforce
  • Mortuary Services

 

CCHHS will continue to vaccinate those previously identified as eligible based on employment as well as those eligible in the General Population Lane, which is Quad-County residents ages 65 and older. Vaccinations are by appointment only. Proof of employment such as a badge or pay stub will be required at the time of the appointment (if eligible based on employment).
