Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 20 new cases and 70 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region on Wednesday.
This brings the total number of cases to 11,890, with 10,992 recoveries and 222 deaths; 676 cases remain active.

CCHHS COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility

Starting April 5, 2021 Quad-County residents and employees ages 16 and older will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at all Quad-County events. Currently, the only COVID-19 vaccine authorized for use in individuals ages 16-17 is the Pfizer vaccine. Janssen and Moderna are not authorized for use in those under the age of 18 at this time. When booking an appointment, the vaccine brand is included in the event title. Events are by appointment only.
