Californians driving 100 mph held for DUI, Carson City Sheriff says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent unless convicted in court.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 24
• At 12:50 p.m., a 42-year-old was taken into civil protective custody after he was located “grossly intoxicated” in the parking lot of MJ’s Sports Bar. The arrest report says he has been CPCed several times in the past. He was ordered held until sober.
• At 7:21 p.m., a 33-year-old transient was arrested on charges of violating a restraining order by going to the victim’s residence and violating probation conditions. Bail was set at $6,000.
• At 7:44 p.m., Charles Fortner, 55, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after a fight outside the Motel 6. He admitted hitting the victim with a bat after the man approached him with a knife before putting the knife away. The victim was found a short time later sitting in his vehicle with a large laceration on his head. Bail was set at $30,000.
SATURDAY
• At 1:10 a.m., a 33-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested after a high speed chase that began in Washoe Valley and ended at Koontz Lane and I-580. The Ford F150 reached speeds of over 100 mph and hit the center median on the Washoe Valley bridge as well as the right side median, driving in the center of the highway. The arrest report says there was damage down the left side of the vehicle from the front to the rear panel. The driver was charged with DUI 2nd offense alcohol. Bail was set at $2,500.
• At 4:42 p.m., a 34-year-old Dayton man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after deputies were dispatched to Roland Way for a suspicious person. Bail was set at $3,000.
• At 5:12 p.m., a 37-year-old California man was charged with multiple misdemeanor counts after his motorcycle was stopped in the area of I-580 and Arrowhead. The arrest report says the driver was traveling at speeds up to 95 mph and passing vehicles on the right shoulder. He was charged with passing on the right, speeding, unsafe lane change, reckless driving and DUI 1st alcohol. Bail was set at $1,680.
• At 8:17 p.m., a 69-year-old New Mexico man was charged with indecent exposure after deputies were dispatched to John Street for an intoxicated man who attempted to touch a couple’s dog. When the deputy spotted him, he was urinating in the parking lot in view of witnesses including children. Bail was set at $250.
SUNDAY
• At 9:17 p.m., Gina Lascascia, 58, was arrested after a homeowner on Meadowood Drive reported finding her in the residence. The arrest report says she was an ex-tenant and was highly intoxicated. He also said she had not returned the key to the residence to him. She was charged with burglary and destruction of several thousand dollars worth of property inside including an expensive chandelier. Bail was set at $30,000.
MONDAY
• At 7:46 p.m., a 26-year-old woman was charged with obstructing an officer by providing a false name when asked for ID. The incident occurred outside the Carson library. Her bail was set at $300.
• At 11:43 p.m., two people were arrested after deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute at an apartment on South Carson Street. Both Debra, 63, and Christopher Miramontes, 53, were charged with possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia. She was further charged with domestic battery. Her bail was set at $6,500. His bail was set at $3,500.
