Man lying in ditch gets a bed (at the jail), Carson sheriff says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent unless convicted in court.
TUESDAY, OCT. 5
• At 10:01 a.m., a 32-year-old was arrested after deputies were dispatched to an area of Medical Parkway for a report of a man lying in a ditch. The arrest report says that among the items of trash surrounding him was a meth pipe and a syringe. He was charged with possession of paraphernalia and littering because of the mess surrounding him. Bail was set at $1,500.
• At 5:07 p.m., Mila Dunn, 33, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle after the owner called dispatch with the location of the vehicle. She said Dunn is a former foster child of hers. Bail was set at $15,000.
WEDNESDAY
• At 8:15 a.m., Javier Barajas-Rodriguez, 59, was arrested at the auto dealership where he worked on a warrant charging sexual assault against a person under age 14. Bail was set at $300,000.
• At 4:48 p.m., a 48-year-old man was charged with threatening to kill his 73-year-old mother at her residence in the Autumn Village Senior Living complex. He was charged with elder abuse. Bail was set at $2,500.
• At 9:57 p.m., a 25-year-old was arrested for violating a temporary protective order barring him from being within 100 yards of the residence of his ex-girlfriend. Bail was set at $3,000.
• At 10:32 p.m., a 31-year-old woman was arrested in a vehicle outside a Long Street apartment on a bench warrant charging violation of suspended sentence conditions. Bail was set at $1,000.
