Travel to Reno, Tahoe or over the mountain passes is slowed this morning due to snow.
Rain continues in Carson City with only localized flooding being reported in low-lying road ways.
The snow level is supposed to drop to near 5,000 feet. 1-3 inches of snow is possible through 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service in Reno.
The Carson River gauge near Snyder predicts the river to get to 7.5 feet, under the flood stage. Check NVRoads.com for updated road reports.
