NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Churchill County Board of Commissioners will
hold a public hearing on August 17, 2022,
at 2:00 PM, to be held in the Commission
Chambers, County Administration Building,
155 North Taylor Street, Suite 145, Fallon,
Nevada, on the following matter:
An appeal filed by Kent Champneys of the
Planning Commission’s decision to deny
issuing a Temporary Use Permit to house a
recreational vehicle to be used as temporary
quarters for general purposes at 6840 Reno
Highway, APN: 008-141-03, proposing that
the RV be used for a caretaker to live in to
discourage theft and vandalism, similar to a
commercial watchmen, without a business,
to help clean the property and assist with trying
to re-establish the Rock Shop business.
If you cannot attend the meeting, written
comments may be submitted to the County
Clerk’s Office, 155 No. Taylor Street, Suite
110, Fallon, Nevada 89406, or via email to:

4:00 PM on August 16, 2022.
