UPDATE, Aug. 8, 6 p.m.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office has been receiving calls that Lanyon has been seen in Reno near Kietzke and Plumb Lane. Lanyon, 43, appeared to be approximately 160 pounds with stringy hair and wearing a purple dress. According to a caller, she appeared to be dazed and confused.

INITIAL STORY
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating Heidi Lanyon.
According to a news release, Lanyon last contacted her family in December 2019. She is transient and could be in the Reno area.
Lanyon is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 112 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. She does not have any known medical issues.
