State offices, Western Nevada College, UNR delay openings

Western Nevada College's Carson City campus and the Child Development Center will be on a two-hour delay on Wednesday because of icy road conditions, WNC said in an email.
Following an early morning assessment of the University of Nevada, Reno campus and area, a decision has been made to delay the start of the opening of campus operations (campus operations refers to any work performed at any University office, property, field work or sponsored events) and offices on Wednesday, UNR said in an email. The Redfield campus, Building A at 18600 Wedge Pkwy., is also on a delay and will open at 10 a.m. 

Web classes and remote operations will continue as scheduled. However, physical locations will open at 10 a.m. due to hazardous driving conditions. All in-person classes before 10 a.m. are canceled.

State offices in Carson City and Washoe County are on a two-hour delay Wednesday and will open at 10 a.m., Gov. Steve Sisolak said on Twitter.
