Tod Colegrove, Carson City Library director, is resigning effective Sept. 30. He will become dean of the Albertsons Library at Boise State University.
The Library Board of Trustees will meet Thursday at 5:30 p.m. to accept his resignation and begin the recruitment process for a new director. Per the agenda, they will discuss setting a salary range, creating a job description and posting a job announcement for the position.
If Colegrove’s position is not filled by the end of September, Joy Holt, the department business manager and deputy director, will serve as interim director for the library.
The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Robert “Bob” Crowell Board Room of the Community Center, 851 E. William St.
