New businesses held ribbon cuttings and soft openings just in time for summer foot traffic in Carson City.
Michoacán a Pedir de Boca Ice Cream Shop Oscar and Selene Luna are Northern Nevada natives serving up the creamiest ice cream in town at Michoacán a Pedir de Boca. “We make all the ice cream here. We use a super creamy base,” Oscar Luna said. They held a soft opening in late May, just in time for summer. Michoacán a Pedir de Boca serves milkshakes, popsicles, and Mexican treats alongside their rich ice cream. The Luna’s storefront is on 4250 Cochise St., and they’re open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., except Sundays when they close at 7 p.m.
