Lyon County Commission Chairman Ken Gray has scheduled a town hall meeting to discuss traffic safety issues for 6 p.m. Monday, May 16 at Calvary Chapel Dayton Valley, 28 Enterprise Way in Dayton.
Representatives from the Nevada Department of Transportation, Nevada State Police and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office will address safety issues and receive public input regarding the number of accidents and fatalities on U.S. Highway 50.
County officials expect a large gathering and hopes the town hall will produce positive solutions to reduce crashes.
