Faith Evans/Nevada Appeal
The Brewery Arts Center will host the musical instrumental ensemble Verviers on Saturday, May 21 at 7 p.m. at The Mazie Theater.
The ensemble features cello, guitar, percussion, and keys. The set will include original compositions and feature guest soloists bringing in the trumpet and mandolin.
Playing with Verviers is Ten Dollar Pony, a duo comprised of Larry Nair and Liza Beth Oliveto.
Larry and Liza Beth’s music is firmly based in a “vocal-centric” and melody driven aesthetic with a lively blend of original and cover tunes encompassing folk, pop, blues, and country rock.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
