Nevada Dance Company’s 33rd Annual Nutcracker Ballet will include four performances featuring professional and local dancers, Nov. 25-27.

Professional dancers from Sacramento Ballet will inspire audiences with their renditions of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier. Jonathon Dummar, a local dancer turned professional, will grace the stage as the Snow King. Kelsey Gerber will be featured as the Chinese soloist and Gretchen Lewall will demonstrate a crowd-pleasing performance as the Arabian soloist. The Russian dance will feature Armen Haggopian and Co.

Performances are set for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 25, 26 at 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 26, 27 at 2 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center. General admission is $29 and $23 for seniors and students.

This year’s Nutcracker is accompanied by 10 professionals and 70 young dancers from Douglas County, Carson City, Reno, and Lake Tahoe areas.
