INVITATION TO BIDCOOPERATIVE
FARMING
Sealed bid proposals will be accepted for
the leasing of a portion (1,000 acres) of
the Argenta Wildlife Management Area,
Lander County, Battle Mountain, Nevada
for the purpose of Cooperative Farming
and prescriptive use grazing. The selected
bidder will enter into a multi-year contractual
agreement with a lease period of November
1, 2022 through March 15, 2027. Bids shall
be submitted using the approved bid sheet
provided by the Nevada Department of
Wildlife.
To be considered, bids shall be received by
the Nevada Department of Wildlife Office
(NDOW), 6980 Sierra Center Pkwy., Suite
120, Reno, Nevada 89511 until October 10,
2022 at 2:00 P.M., and then publicly opened.
In consideration of bids received, the State
reserves the right to consider demonstrated
experience in flood irrigating, water rights
delivery, management, working with Division
of Water Resources, past performance of
operator; and bid cost, when determining bid
award or denial.
NDOW reserves the right to accept or reject
any and/or all bids.
