GOED awarded $500,000 to expand international trade

The Governor’s Office of Economic Development has been awarded $500,000 to help businesses in the state expand their international trade.
International business coordinator Dijanna Mitrovic said the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) provides small businesses the opportunity to sell their services and products to 191 countries around the globe.
STEP provides those businesses with the tools to succeed in export activities including participating in foreign trade missions, marketing sales trips and designing international marketing campaigns.
The grant program provides access to capital and markets around the world.
