We have a treat for you this weekend on Friday and Saturday — Fallon Theatre in conjunction with our event sponsor Huck Salt present Hocus Pocus Movie Theme Night! Dare to come to the Fallon Theatre for a fully-immersive experience. Decorations, costume contest, games and a special menu feature such treats as Lucky Rat Tail, Cauldron Bites, Kiddie Cakes, Life Potion along with Adult Witch's Brew.
Doors open at 5 p.m. each night and movies start at both 6 and 6:30 p.m. Also each evening will feature a Costume Contest — categories are funniest, best couple, scariest, most original along with best overall. Winners will be determined by the Fallon Theatre and event sponsor Huck Salt.
For those who don't recall this terrific 1993 Disney movie, “Hocus Pocus” is a hilarious comedy/horror film which follows a trio of diabolical witches who were executed in the 17th century, the Sanderson sisters (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy), who are inadvertently resurrected by a virgin teenage boy in Salem, Massachusetts, on Halloween night. The movie also stars Omri Katz, Thora Birch and Vinessa Shaw. Again, a big thank you to our event sponsor, Huck Salt, and we hope to see you there.
Also don't forget our annual Fallon Theatre Show n' Shine, on Oct. 8 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Maine Street. Lots of great classic cars along with swap meet featuring car related products. Music by our good friend DJ Davey Munoz.
