With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the gift you need may be at T & G Gifts. Hang around a little longer and you may also find a family as many of the staff and volunteers who work at the gift store describe themselves.

The team showed off the store’s fresh new look at the ribbon-cutting Jan. 21. The Fallon Chamber of Commerce rolled out the red carpet and handed the giant scissors to manager Kim Amaya.

“It makes me so happy when the customers say how nice it looks in here,” Amaya said. “We’ve all been working very hard.”

A wide variety of woodwork, leatherwork, jewelry, clothes, electronics, collectables, antiques, Nevada souvenirs and upcycled furniture are all available. Customers can work with furniture designers to create a customized look or choose from many already completed pieces. The store also features booths by local consigners including ScheyBee’s Corner, BFF Shirts and Gifts, Dreamy Designs and Ana’s Wreath Boutique.

As part of the Fallon Nazarene Church outreach, profits from T & G Gifts support projects like the Out of Egypt food pantry within the Fallon community.
