Notice of Application for Federal Funds

FTA Section 5311, 5339

Churchill Area Regional Transportation is

applying for Federal Transit Administration

(FTA) 49 U.C.C. 5311 grant for capital assistance

for operations and 5339 for purchase

of transit vehicles for Fiscal Years 2024-2025,

hereinafter referred to as the Project. Further

details relative to the Project are available

from Cathy Lucero, 223 Sheckler Rd., Fallon,

NV 89460, 775-428-2988.

Interested parties are advised that they

may request a public hearing be conducted

to provide a means for the public to express

their views relative to the proposed Project on

the probable social, economic and environmental

effects involved. In lieu of requesting a

public hearing, interested parties may submit

their comments in writing.

Written requests for a public hearing and/

or submittal of comments must be postmarked

on or before March 31, 2023 and

should be addressed to C.A.R.T., 223 Sheckler

Rd., Fallon, NV 89406. Should a public

hearing be required, a public notice will be

published stating the date, time, and location

of the hearing.
