The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City will host train rides with Santa during the first three weekends in December.
The Santa train has 11 rides a day on Saturdays and Sundays. The schedule will run from Saturday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 17, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with rides every 30 minutes.
The event will include treats, warm refreshments, and raffle prizes centered around a ride on historic equipment from the Virginia & Truckee Railroad.
Tickets are $5 per person and available on a first-come, first-served basis or by purchasing in advance at the ticket office on Saturdays and Sundays between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Boarding time is 15 minutes before departure time. Walk-up tickets are available on event days.
